Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel

Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel is the hotel with the view: about 380 rooms and suites at One Hartsfield Centre Parkway, on airport land a mile north of the terminal, with balconies over the north runways and a free shuttle every 20 minutes to the Domestic Terminal. It is the choice for plane-spotters and for anyone who wants a full-service hotel with an AAA Four Diamond rating, a good bar and a concierge lounge, on the understanding that the shuttle serves the Domestic Terminal only and stops in severe weather.

Location and Transportation

The hotel is at One Hartsfield Centre Parkway, a mile north of the Domestic Terminal on the airport’s own land, which is why the runways are so close. The free shuttle runs every 20 minutes to the Domestic Terminal, picking up in the Ground Transportation Center at the west end (doors W1 and W2, hotel-shuttle Aisle C, North stalls); it does not go to the International Terminal, so international arrivals take the free terminal-to-terminal shuttle across first, and the hotel suspends the service in severe weather. Downtown is 16 minutes from MARTA’s Airport station. Our SkyTrain and hotel shuttles guide explains the pick-up point and the thunderstorm delays guide what to do when storms ground the shuttles.

Nearby Alternatives

For a shuttle that runs all night, the Atlanta Airport Marriott (every 15 minutes, 24 hours) and The Westin Atlanta Airport are the full-service choices on Best Road; the Hilton Atlanta Airport runs from 4 am to 2 am. For no shuttle at all, the Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway is one stop on the SkyTrain.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Renaissance Concourse shuttle work?

It is free and runs every 20 minutes between the hotel and the Domestic Terminal. At the airport, go to the west end of the Domestic Terminal, out through door W1 or W2 to the Ground Transportation Center, and wait in the hotel-shuttle aisle (Aisle C, North stalls). The shuttle does not serve the International Terminal: from there, take the free terminal-to-terminal shuttle to the Domestic Terminal first. The hotel suspends the service during severe weather.

Can I see the runways from my room?

Yes, from the runway-view rooms and suites, which have balconies facing the north runways (8L/26R and 8R/26L). Ask for a runway view when you book; the windows are soundproofed and the balcony gives plane-spotters the best hotel view at ATL.

Does the Renaissance Concourse have a pool?

The hotel's own amenity list does not include a pool, and recent guest reviews describe it as closed, although some booking sites still show an indoor pool. If a pool matters to your stay, ask the hotel before booking, or choose the Atlanta Airport Marriott or the Westin, which both have indoor and outdoor pools.

What does parking cost?

Self-parking is $25 a day ($5 an hour) and valet $32 a day; there is no EV charging. The hotel offers long-term parking for guests flying out, so ask about a park-and-fly rate when you book.
